Job summary

JLL is seeking a Project Manager to orchestrate complex construction and development projects from inception to delivery in a Washington, DC area setting. You will be the primary client contact, translating visions into actionable plans while guiding design, construction milestones, and delivery across diverse teams.

The role demands strategic thinking and meticulous attention to detail, with responsibilities spanning schedules, budgets, quality benchmarks, and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing construction or development projects from initiation through closeout.
• Expertise in project management methodologies, budget control, and schedule management.
• Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of construction documents, building codes, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP, CCM, or LEED AP preferred but not required.
• Travel to client sites regularly (approx. 50% of time).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project execution including scope, schedule, budget, and QA as primary client contact.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams of architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payment apps for compliance and timing.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Facilitate design reviews, coordination sessions, and client updates.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation and status reports.
• Maintain organized project files for audit readiness and knowledge transfer.
