Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5 years of successful experience as a project manager.
• Knowledge of the construction industry and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
• Scheduling, purchasing, estimating, and management of personnel, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel; Microsoft Project experience a plus.
• Experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control and production of all phases of construction.
• Experienced in managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the set-up, execution and close out of projects.
• Develop/track project budgets including labor, materials, and subcontracts.
• Manage master schedules, timelines and milestones.
• Provide weekly updates to owners/executive management.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and updates as designs evolve.
• Prepare bid packages and clarify bid documents for bidders.
• Write and negotiate subcontracts; procure materials and subcontractors.
• Review bids and ensure buyout at or below estimates.
• Monitor project cost projections and change orders.
• Ensure pre-task planning for coordination, quality control and safety.
