Job summary

Chesapeake Contracting Group is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to support the Preconstruction department and collaborate with the VP of Preconstruction and Estimating Director. You will supervise the bid coordinators and serve as the department's contact for procedures and systems.

The role requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong communication, able to meet multiple deadlines, and adept at working with Building Connected, Procore, and MS Office within a flexible

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical training experience.
• Minimum 3 years construction experience or relevant project experience.
• College degree preferred.
• Subject matter expert for Building Connected and Procore is required.
• Proficiency with MS Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu for document management and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the bid coordinator team.
• Support the VP of Pre-Construction and Estimating Director.
• Oversee procedures and systems within Preconstruction.
• Coordinate annual & periodic reviews and training materials.
• Act as liaison with Building Connected and Procore.
• Maintain training manuals and department procedures.
• Assist with onboarding and staff development.
• Provide administrative support and calendar management.
