Job summary

AEA Investors in the Washington DC area seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support planning and execution of interior renovation construction projects. You will coordinate maintenance, supervise contractors, ensure safety compliance, and manage budgets and financial reporting.

The role requires experience in commercial construction, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, and proficiency with Procore and Primavera P6 scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Proficiency with Procore and P6 Scheduling preferred.
• Ability to manage projects up to $50M in value.
• Strong budgets, schedules, and resource management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate routine and preventive maintenance of construction properties.
• Schedule and supervise contractors and maintenance staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Prepare and manage property budgets and financial reports.
• Collect rent and manage accounts receivable.
• Oversee property expenses and accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Coordinate property inspections and audits.
• Oversee construction projects related to property improvements.
• Coordinate with construction teams for timely project completion.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for property-related construction projects.
