Job summary

Jefferson County is seeking a qualified Construction Project Manager for its General Services department to oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and completion of construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects across the county.

You will manage multiple projects through development, budgeting, procurement, construction, and closeout, coordinating contractors, consultants, engineers, architects, and internal teams to ensure work meets plans, schedules, budgets, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction, renovation, or infrastructure projects from development through closeout.
• Experience developing or managing construction budgets and tracking expenditures.
• Experience participating in construction procurement and administering contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develops project plans, scopes, budgets and schedules for construction/renovation projects.
• Coordinates activities of architects, engineers, contractors and internal teams to meet plans and regulatory requirements.
• Monitors progress, conducts site visits, and ensures quality and safety compliance.
