Job summary

The Vertex Companies, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to assist a Managing Consultant in delivering high-quality work across practice areas. You will coordinate with team members, manage schedules, cost reviews, site observations, and risk assessments to meet client expectations and budgets.

Travel is required to job sites in New York and New Jersey, with opportunities to mentor staff and influence OKRs. A strong background in construction management and collaboration is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, a Master's degree and 3 years of related experience, or 8 years of related experience and no degree.
• Solid Construction Project Management experience.
• Sound construction and construction administration knowledge.
• Familiarity with housing, retail and commercial design or construction.
• Construction related professional qualifications preferred (AC, CPC, LEED AP, PE, PMP, RA, RICS).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work Product Creation, Project Management, Coordination with Team Members.
• Managing and assessing complex information for accuracy and risk on various high-profile projects.
• Completing plan and cost reviews, site observations, property condition reports, and internal QC reviews.
• Conducting due diligence for proposed developments.
• Performing construction project management, leading project meetings.
• Traveling is required for this role, both locally and nationally, including overnight stays.
• Support senior leadership on various projects and company initiatives.
