Job summary

Massschoolbuildings is hiring a Project Manager II, Construction Administration to oversee multiple core programs with supervision from a Senior Project Manager. You will review design submittals, funding amendments, eligibility of reimbursements, change orders and budget revisions to ensure conformance with MSBA scope and guidelines.

The role emphasizes schedules, budgets, site visits, design reviews, and adherence to MSBA processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4–7 years of design, construction, or applicable experience.
Knowledge of construction project administration, contract compliance monitoring, claims processing and construction methods.
Proficiency with MSBA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently or in a team.
Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites.

Responsibilities

Manage project schedules, budgets, cost estimates and scope to ensure MSBA guideline compliance.
Lead project meetings and review design development, budgets and schedules for funded projects.
Review change‑order documentation and budget revisions for eligibility.
Ensure contract compliance during construction with MSBA procedures and policies.
Prepare recommendations for final grant payments and reimbursements.
Participate in subcommittees and assist in training and recruitment activities.
Work a hybrid schedule – minimum of two in‑office days per week.
