Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large, complex projects across the United States from Charlotte, NC. You will serve as the single point of contact for owners/clients and coordinate with the superintendent and subcontractors to meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

You will guide design reviews, cost control, bidding, and subcontracting processes, while mentoring junior team members and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent plus 8 years minimum in construction management
• Knowledge in the design and construction of Industrial Water/Wastewater facilities
• Excellent sales and customer relationship skills

Responsibilities

• Assists project directors in responding to RFPs including preparation of conceptual estimates, schedules, and other proposal documents
• Monitors progress of design documents and participates in design review meetings
• Prepares detailed estimates, cost code input, and cost control systems
• Prepares bid packages and coordinates subcontracts and major purchase orders
• Plans, sequences, and schedules the project with input from the superintendent and subcontractors
• Manages project cost control including updating labor cost reports and status summaries
• Coordinates requirements of governing authorities for permits, inspections, and final approval
• Maintains submittal control and expedites submittals from suppliers and subcontractors
