McClure Company in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction projects, report to the Manager of Construction Operations, and ensure contractual obligations, schedules, and profitability targets are met while maintaining a safe work culture.

The role requires coordinating meetings, managing subcontractors, preparing CPM schedules, and driving design reviews and value engineering to deliver quality service for clients.

Formación

• Mechanical construction project management experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with various departments of the company, as well as clients and subcontractors.
• Good organizational, analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Energetic with a high sense of urgency.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Project).
• Capable of reading and interpreting P&ID's and all other technical project documents, preferred
• Thorough knowledge of piping and sheet-metal systems, preferred
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Attend regular meetings with the project team for planning and progress assessment.
• Provide total coordination of all project management activities on selected accounts.
• Purchase and manage subcontractors.
• Prepare CPM schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Perform turnover and preplanning activities per company procedures.
• Lead short interval planning meetings with foremen, subcontractors and owners.
• Ensure projects align with the corporate safety program.
• Conduct ongoing productivity studies.
• Provide monthly cost reporting and status forecasting.
• Approve equipment and material submittals to meet contract commitments.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs for estimating and purchasing.
• Analyze system designs for design-build or value engineering.
• Demonstrate leadership and clear communication to all stakeholders.
• Provide quality customer service and follow-up as needed.
• Interface with customers at all levels to coordinate upcoming projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The McClure Company is searching for a Project Manager in Harrisburg, PA that will report to the Manager of Construction Operations. This individual will oversee all activities to ensure customers' expectations are met or exceeded and our own profitability goals. This includes meeting all contractual obligations, schedule & other commitments, while promoting a safe work culture.

Essential Functions

• Attend regular meetings with the project team for planning and to assess progress
• Provide total coordination of all project management activities on selected accounts
• Purchase and manage subcontractors
• Prepare CPM schedules on Microsoft project
• Exercise extensive turnover and preplanning activities per Company procedures
• Conduct short interval planning meetings with foreman subcontractors and owners
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with our corporate safety program
• Perform productivity studies on an ongoing basis
• Provide accurate cost reporting and forecasting project status on a monthly basis
• Approve equipment and material submittals to ensure contract commitments are met
• Prepare quantity takeoffs for estimating and purchase takeoffs
• Analyze all system designs for potential design build or value engineering
• Demonstrate good leadership and communications to all
• Provide quality customer service and follow-up to customers as needed
• Interface with customers all levels and coordinate the status of upcoming projects
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Position is full-time Monday - Friday and is not a remote work position.
