Benchmark Construction Company in Pennsylvania is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead projects from bid prep through turnover, coordinating field and office teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will manage documents, payments, safety and quality, partner with stakeholders, and drive growth while upholding our standards of integrity and collaboration. You will also mentor junior staff and play a key role in client communications and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep knowledge of construction principles, engineering practices, management strategies, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Strong planning and decision-making skills to navigate challenges and keep projects on track.
• Skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation benefiting all stakeholders.
• Comprehensive understanding of safety standards and compliance to maintain secure worksites.
• Clear, confident communicator who can influence and inspire teams.
• Integrity, respect, and the ability to build trust across disciplines.
• Urgency, proactive mindset, and a strong work ethic that delivers results.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Project Management: ensure on-time delivery, quality, and profitability.
• Client Relationship Management: exceed client expectations and uphold company values.
• Coordinate field activities with office and administrative duties for efficient execution.
• Lead project startup, organize paperwork, and guide projects from groundbreaking to completion.
• Collaborate with the project superintendent to align construction with design, budget, and schedule.
• Oversee monthly payment applications and ensure timely payments and follow-up.
• Review and distribute project documents, shop drawings, addendums, and RFIs.
• Support business development activities to drive growth.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance and maintain a secure workplace.
• Onsite supervision of scheduling, materials control, and admin staff.
• Maintain quality assurance across the project lifecycle.
• Manage as-built drawings and O&M documentation for stakeholders.
