Job summary

Chesapeake Contracting Group in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Project Manager to develop, coordinate, implement and manage all activities necessary to construct the project safely, on schedule and within budget, delivering the required quality.

You will lead project teams, supervise meetings, maintain records, monitor progress with metrics, and partner with Site Superintendent and Senior Project Manager to drive the project to closeout.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong scheduling and cost control capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Organize necessary resources to meet established deadlines and achieve results.
• Regularly monitor project progress using metrics and percent complete.
• Prepare monthly owner billings and review subcontractor billings.
• Oversee project closeout, punchlist, substantial completion and O&M's.
• Lead OAC meetings with project team and stakeholders.
• Schedule purchase and delivery of materials and long-lead items.
• Modify subcontractor scope templates based on project specs.
