ARCO/Murray is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Chicago to lead projects from design to completion. You will own project performance, client satisfaction, budgets, schedules, and coordination with design teams, subs, and vendors.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering, 2–10 years of construction management experience, proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook/Microsoft Project, and a track record of delivering ground-up commercial or light industrial projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 2–10 years of construction management or engineering design experience.
• Experience leading ground-up commercial, light industrial, hospitality, or entertainment projects preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of the project from preconstruction through closeout.
• Collaborate with clients and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and budgets.
• Participate in client meetings to review scope, control costs, and negotiate contracts and fees.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout for trades and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to procure materials or equipment when advantageous to budget or schedule.
• Lead preconstruction planning and on-site meetings to resolve constructability and scheduling issues.
• Track project performance vs. budget; manage pay applications and progress billing.
