Job summary

ARCO/Murray is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with an engineering background to lead construction projects from start to finish. You will manage estimates, schedules, and design reviews while coordinating with owners and the design team to optimize scope and costs.

You’ll oversee subcontractor buyouts, conduct site meetings, and drive value engineering initiatives to meet project goals. This role requires a post-grad opportunity and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field.
• Open to full-time opportunity post-grad.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Prior construction internship experience is a plus.
• Extracurricular involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
• Work with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review scope and provide value engineering ideas.
• Oversee the buyout process and subcontractor selection.
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings.
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Organize, plan and manage multiple activities to achieve results.
• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes.
• Use customer input to implement improvements and meet expectations.
