Job summary

BE&K Building Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects in North Charleston, SC. You will oversee budget, schedule, subcontracting, procurement, design management and client relations, ensuring quality, safety and profitability across projects up to several millions.

You will collaborate with the Superintendent, manage documentation and reporting, and mentor junior staff while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• Minimum five years of construction industry experience, with at least two in Assistant Project Manager.
• Proven success at Assistant Project Manager level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budget and cost controls to ensure profitability.
• Develop and monitor project schedule with the Superintendent.
• Coordinate subcontracting, procurement, and change management.
• Communicate with clients and design team to meet expectations.
• Lead meetings, prepare minutes, and maintain document control.
• Oversee project execution and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
