Job summary

BE&K Building Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead pharmaceutical facility projects in Greenville, NC, with responsibility for budget, schedule, procurement, design management, and client relations on site.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage change orders, ensure GMP and FDA guidance compliance, maintain project documentation, oversee safety, and report progress to the Owner and Design Team while mentoring junior staff and building productive client relationships.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• Minimum five years in construction with Assistant Project Manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Review budget and scope; establish cost coding and enter into JDE.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement and formalize work scopes.
• Lead preconstruction meetings; set safety and quality expectations.
• Develop rolling punch list and manage owner approvals.
• Coordinate project schedule with Superintendent; update monthly.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, and shop drawings.
• Control costs, change orders, and profitability reporting.
• Foster client relations and manage subcontractor/vendor payments.
• Ensure GMP and FDA guidelines in manufacturing facility work.
