Job summary

BE&K Building Group in Charleston is seeking an Electrical Project Manager – Large-Scale Commercial Construction to lead complex projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will drive strategy, coordinate design, procurement, and subcontractors, and serve as the primary client liaison on site.

This onsite role requires 8–10 years of commercial construction experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and proven leadership to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and upholding the highest safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.
• 8–10 years of commercial construction experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a Project Manager role on projects $20M+.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic project leadership from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage multi-million-dollar budgets and schedules.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor coordination, and change management.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain client relationships and reporting to stakeholders.
