Job summary

Certerra - Southern Engineering, a Certerra company, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for Construction Services in Charlotte, NC. The role covers government, commercial, residential, and transportation sectors with field testing and inspection oversight.

Qualifications

• NC PE license preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience with Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, and quality of work.
• Support proposal generation and business development.
• Oversee daily field testing and inspection activities performed by staff.
• Review daily field reports prepared by technicians/inspectors.
• Coordinate and manage project documents (plans, specs, etc.).
• Prepare summary reports and formal documentation.
• Coordinate scope and pricing changes with clients and Construction Services Department Manager.
• Assist in preparing proposals and SOQs.
