Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community Public Work’s Department seeks a Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple projects, coordinate with engineers and contractors, develop plans, estimates, and reports.

Ideal candidate has degree in construction management or related field, 4+ years of PM experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills. This role offers a dynamic team, competitive benefits, and opportunities to grow within SMSC.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, construction or civil engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with AutoCAD (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative direction and oversight for Public Works construction and maintenance projects prior to and during project timeline.
• Coordinates and manages internal and external resources through the completion of assigned projects.
• Assist with development of construction plans, specifications and permit submittals.
• Develop preliminary project estimates and assist with Capital Improvement Plan development.
• Provide/develop project performance status reports regarding cost forecasts, schedule and safety for projects.
• Maintains oversight of project budget, tracks budget adjustments, processes invoices.
