Job summary

Sea Level Construction in Thibodaux, LA is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to lead cost-efficient planning, scheduling, and cross-project coordination.

You’ll supervise staff, manage procurement, review drawings for compliance, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory adherence while delivering on time and within budget. A civil/construction degree and PM/estimating experience are preferred, with strong MS Office skills essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• PM and estimating experience in construction preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF handling.

Responsibilities

• Promotes, executes, and adheres to the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental program.
• Implements safety standards and QA controls; conducts weekly site safety inspections.
• Develops cost-effective plans and schedules for project completion using resources efficiently.
• Coordinates work of employees and contractors across multiple projects; submits weekly schedules.
• Manages procurement of materials and issue purchase orders.
• Reviews drawings to ensure specifications and regulations are followed.
• Oversees contracts, permits, and licenses; supervises staff and safety compliance.
• Tracks project progress and costs to meet time and budget goals.
• Provides regular progress reports to managers and architects; closes out projects.
