Client, an industrial site-civil construction firm, seeks a Civil Construction Manager to lead operations and estimating efforts across the Gulf Coast region, with primary focus on South Louisiana and Texas. The role requires travel and occasional in-person presence on project sites.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years of construction management experience, a commitment to SSHE, and strong leadership to coordinate across multiple stakeholders for on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' practical experience as a Project Construction Manager developing and implementing construction programs.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Travel is required.
• Must communicate effectively with management and employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy for the operations and estimating team, including risk mitigation.
• Manage all job site personnel.
• Implement site safety, including safety meetings with employees and subcontractors.
• Review permit requirements and frequencies per jurisdiction.
• Review and assist Project Management in updating the project schedule.
• Coordinate project closeout and record drawings.
• Oversee quality control and address deviations with corrective actions.
• Attend OSHA visits, audits, and inspections.
• Coordinate with Safety Manager for site safety training needs.
• Attend progress meetings and final project walk-throughs.
• Approve field PTO requests via the employee portal.
• Review attendance with executive management and identify high-risk areas.
• Interview processes to evaluate controls for high-risk areas.
• Test and analyze business processes to improve bottom-line results.
• Prepare written reports with supporting documentation.
• Gather feedback from field personnel and present insights to senior management.
• Assist operations on project accountability, production, and management.
• Identify opportunities for continual improvement and industry partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, processes, and regulations.
