Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction (2+ in supervision), strong communication and management skills, and proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets. CAD experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction, 2+ years as a superintendent preferred.
• Extensive experience/knowledge in concrete and road construction.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets a plus; CAD experience a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Management skills; experience in team and project management.
• Ability to work with and manage a large team of contractors and subcontractors seamlessly.
• Organized, thorough work ethic.
• Analytical and mathematically-minded; critical thinker and problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire construction process.
• Ensure safety and health project plans are put into practice.
• Manage wages and purchases within budget.
• Organize workers to meet construction requirements.
• Record total expenditures for resources and payments to workers.
• Common inspection on safety and performance of workers.
• Mediate with inspectors on site safety and licenses.
• Track construction progress to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure punctuality.
• Maintain budget while preserving quality.
• Record project progress with foreman.
