Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction project management experience.
• Electrical experience highly preferred.
• Experience leading a team and fostering development/mentorship.
• Data center experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Construct the project in accordance with plans, schedule, specs and standards.
• Lead subcontractors and field workers on the jobsite.
• Promote project safety per the Safety Policy.
• Coordinate schedule, budget and staff with PMs.
• Maintain two-week look-ahead schedules and project documentation.
• Assist with buyout and selection of major subs.
• Identify ways to reduce cost and improve schedule and quality.
• Review contract terms and ensure compliance.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

EPI Power is hiring a Project Manager to be responsible for profitably managing all administrative and field construction activities to quality standards, while maintaining relationships with all stakeholders on a data center project in Boydton, VA. The Project Manager is expected to demonstrate leadership by following company standards and policies, achieving shared goals, developing others, and building high morale and commitment. This role requires the ability to work 6 days per week, Monday - Saturday, 58 hours per week. EPI Power, LLC ("EPI") is a licensed electrical contractor and subsidiary of The Weitz Company that specializes in data centers. What You’ll Do

• Construct the project in accordance with plans, schedule, specifications and standards
• Lead subcontractors and field employees on a jobsite
• Lead project safety in accordance with the Company’s Safety Policy
• Work alongside the Project Manager(s) to manage the project schedule, budget and staff
• Develop and maintain the project schedule utilizing scheduling software; prepare two-week look ahead schedules
• Assist with the buyout and selection of major subcontractors
• Recommend ways to reduce cost, improve schedule dates, decrease project scope and improve the quality of the project
• Ensure project documents are accurate, timely and in compliance (i.e. closeout documents, submittals, daily logs, etc.)
• Review and enforce all contract terms and obligations
• Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures

• Experience:
  • 3+ years of construction project management experience required
  • Electrical experience highly preferred
  • Experience leading a team and providing opportunities for development and mentorship
  • Data center experience is a plus

  • Ability to learn specific job-related software upon hire
• Additional Requirements:
  • Willing to travel or relocate based on project need
  • Ability to work Monday - Saturday schedule (58 hours per week)
