Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of commercial general contracting experience.
• Certifications and trainings in construction are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall construction and closeout phases of project.
• Develop and implement the overall construction schedule with entire project team.
• Review cost reports against budget with project team and suggest solutions to variances.
• Accountable to management for monthly project team meeting (PTM) reporting.
• Schedule and conduct project meetings and project closeout process.
• Facilitate schedule creation, maintenance, and compliance.
• Work with on-site construction team to review plans and specs.
• Responsible for procurement and project buyout processes.
• Maintain key customer relationships and provide insight to the RFP process.
• Participate in community and industry events to build networks.
• Deliver the Knutson Experience on each project.
• Identify and control project risk with the team.
• Manage project to achieve margin goals.
• Review contracts and reports exposure to management.
• Enforce safety policies and QA/QC practices.
• Oversee preconstruction operations under the leadership of the Preconstruction department.
