Job summary

Colonial Group in Limestone, TX is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its PCI Houston 115 operations based in Limestone, TX. You will provide project management support to commercial and industrial projects and drive safety, QA/QC, scheduling, and cost control across assigned projects.

The role requires 5+ years in construction management, strong reading of specs/drawings, excellent communication, and a willingness to travel for out-of-town projects.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Construction Management experience.
• Experience with estimating, project management, and managing specialty scopes.
• Ability to diagnose key information and navigate profitability risks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; customer service oriented.
• Multitask, think critically, and learn new job skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in safety plans and measures for the branch and assigned projects.
• Create and manage punch lists proactively.
• Understand and follow QA/QC measures outlined in the program for assigned projects.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals and shop drawings.
• Coordinate activities to maximize productivity and efficiency on site.
• Manage labor and cost controls to maximize profitability.
• Coordinate warranties and O&M’s; assist in vendor and subcontractor buyout.
• Complete monthly FAW-based job cost analyses and communicate issues to stakeholders.
