Job summary

JBW Federal is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects from planning to close-out. You will ensure safety, schedule adherence, profitability, and customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with contract documents and company policy.

The role requires a B.A./B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, with 5–7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• 5-7 years of experience in managing commercial construction projects.
• Thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling, cash flow procedures.
• Proficient management, leadership, business development, and technical skills.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and mobilize projects; manage safety, schedule, and budget.
• Accept projects from estimating department at budget transfer.
• Process submittals to meet the project schedule and contract documents.
• Expedite material deliveries from subcontractors and vendors.
• Promote the company's safety policies and programs.
• Prepare and review cost reports; analyze cost and schedule for course corrections.
• Lead project team; coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare monthly draw requests and ensure revenue forecasts are met.
• Manage invoicing with subs/vendors and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain orderly job site and overall project success in safety, schedule, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Understand and administer prime contract terms, documents, and insurance requirements.
• Prepare estimates with focus on cost control, resources, and schedule.
