Job summary

Norcon, Inc. in Chicago seeks a Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with architects, clients, office and field staff, and subcontractors on commercial and residential work.

The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of construction project experience, strong organization and communication skills, and a focus on safety. Travel to job sites may be required. Salary up to $120,000 with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years of project support/management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in commercial and residential construction is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Coordinate with architects, clients, office staff, field staff and subs.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare estimates and schedules.
• Prepare subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and project documentation.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders; manage QA/QC lists.
• Support project closeout tasks including O&M manuals and punch lists.
