Job summary

ARCO National Holdings in Albany, NY invites enrolled engineering or CM students to join as Construction Project Manager Co-op for Spring/Summer 2027. You will assist with estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, permitting, submittal reviews, billing, and site visits under supervision.

This paid internship offers housing stipends, potential path to full-time, and real-world exposure to design-build processes across our projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program
• Minimum GPA 3.0 out of 4.0
• Previous internship or co-op construction experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Estimating – describe project proposals and assign dollar values
• Scheduling – create a working timeline for subcontractors/trades
• Attend design meetings with owner and team to understand proposals
• Buyout – send bid instructions, schedule, drawings to subs; evaluate proposals
• Permitting – fill out permit forms and submit with drawings and fees
• Shop drawing/submittal review – coordinate with PM and subs
• Billing – manage subcontracts, change orders, pay requests
• Job site visits – accompany PM and monitor progress
