Job summary

Watts Electric Company in Nebraska is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil and utility construction projects from startup through completion. You will coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, Estimators and Operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Applicants from civil, utility, electrical construction backgrounds are encouraged. A degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field is valuable, with practical field experience strongly

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field is valuable.
• Experience in construction management strongly considered for advancement.
• Open to experienced PMs and high-potential early-career professionals seeking growth into PM roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate construction projects from startup through completion.
• Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, Estimators and Operations.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials and schedules.
• Monitor project budgets, job costs, production and financial performance.
• Manage change orders, documentation, billing information and project closeout.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts and project requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, municipalities and other stakeholders.
• Identify problems early and develop solutions to keep projects moving.
• Ensure field teams have the equipment, materials and information they need.
• Take ownership of project schedule, quality, safety and overall execution.
