Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our PMCM division on Ohio locations. You will liaison with owners, architects, and engineers, develop schedules, lead site staff, and manage safety and compliance across multiple trades.

The role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, cost control, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with design teams and suppliers. This is a full-time on-site position in Ohio with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field with 8+ years construction experience.
Solid understanding of commercial construction operations and self-perform work.
Knowledge of contract docs, drawings, specs, and schedules.
OSHA and safety program knowledge.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead teams.

Responsibilities

Liaise with owners, architects, and engineers for daily construction ops.
Develop and implement project work schedules and critical-path items.
Lead Turner jobsite staff and conduct performance appraisals.
Develop and manage site safety program with EH&S team.
Oversee compliance with contract docs, scheduling, logistics, QA, WIP, staffing.
Coordinate across trades and resolve design, labor, and schedule issues.
Manage relationships with trade partners and employees.
Oversee project mock-ups, testing, review and approval.
Ensure permits and insurance; liaison with inspections.
Stormwater Compliance Coordinator per program.
