Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our PMCM division at our Ohio locations.

You will be the primary liaison with owners, architects, and engineers for day-to-day construction operations, develop and manage project work schedules, and help lead jobsite teams to ensure timely delivery and quality. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and a minimum of eight years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8+ years of construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, drawings, specifications, and safety programs.
• Ability to manage cost, schedule, and field operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Primary liaison with owners, architects, and engineers for daily operations.
• Develop and manage project schedules including critical path and expediting materials.
• Lead, supervise, and develop jobsite staff and provide input on performance.
• Oversee safety programs and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Manage WIP, invoices, and subcontractor payments; verify monthly estimates.
• Coordinate with trades to optimize project operations and resolve issues.
• Oversee permits, insurance, and inspections; liaise with agencies.
• Utilize continuous improvement methods to enhance programs and reduce waste.
