Job summary

Nabholz Construction in Franklin, TN is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Project Managers and Engineers in buyout, documentation, and close-out. You will help interpret drawings, bids, and schedules while aligning with Nabholz's policies and values.

This role emphasizes safety, quality management, and timely project closeout. Candidates should have a 4-year degree in construction and at least 3 years in project engineering on commercial sites, with strong communication and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of project engineering experience in commercial construction.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand project documents including drawings and addenda.
• Assist PM in bid evaluation, vendor bids, and subcontractor commitments.
• Assist PM with accurate cost projections.
• Administer document control for all project documentation and submittals.
• Document meetings and distribute minutes to the project team.
• Monitor project timeline and develop look-ahead schedules.
• Promote jobsite safety and participate in safety meetings and site walks.
• Coordinate permitting through Certificate of Occupancy.
• Manage punch list from creation to completion.
• Assist with timely closeout of commitments and project documents.
