Nabholz Construction in Conway, AR is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Project Managers and Engineers in buyouts, documentation, and close-out. You will help with cost projections, vendor bids, and subcontractor commitments while ensuring procurement policy compliance and ethical standards.

Role emphasizes safety, QA, and coordination with agencies, suppliers, and clients. Requires a 4-year degree in construction-related field and 3+ years in commercial project engineering.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Construction Management or related field.
• At least 3 years of Project Engineering in commercial construction.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Able to present before groups in meetings.
• OSHA 10-hour training completed.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate experience.
• Scheduling software proficiency.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Maintain positive client, designer, and vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly understand project documents including drawings and addenda.
• Assist Project Manager in evaluating bid packages and vendor bids.
• Assist with accurate cost projections.
• Solicit and evaluate change orders and pricing from vendors.
• Administer document control for project documentation.
• Document project meetings and distribute minutes.
• Monitor and update project timeline with look-ahead schedules.
• Promote jobsite safety and participate in safety meetings.
• Coordinate with governmental agencies from permitting to occupancy.
• Manage punch list from creation to completion.
• Assist in timely closeout of commitments and documents.
