The Talent Shop in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Construction Project Manager for residential remodeling. This hands-on role oversees projects from handoff through completion, coordinating subcontractors, materials, schedules, and customer communication to ensure quality workmanship and timely follow-through.

You will visit job sites across Western New York, maintain project records, manage changes, and serve as the primary client contact.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple residential remodeling projects, coordinating schedules, subcontractors, materials and milestones.
• Visit job sites in Buffalo and Western New York to monitor progress and address issues.
• Serve as primary customer contact, providing updates and guiding homeowners through decisions.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors, communicate expectations, and follow up on commitments.
• Order materials, track inventory, and coordinate deliveries to minimize delays.
• Anticipate scheduling conflicts and field challenges, implementing practical solutions.
• Maintain accurate project records and change orders in JobNimbus.
• Monitor scope vs. changes and obtain approvals before extra work.
• Conduct quality-control inspections and develop punch lists.
• Address concerns at project completion and manage follow-up work orders.
• Organize daily priorities while balancing field visits and admin tasks.

The Talent Shop is seeking a Construction Project Manager for a residential remodeling company serving Western New York. This hands‑on, customer‑focused role oversees remodeling projects from handoff through completion. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, materials, schedules, and customer communication while ensuring quality workmanship and timely follow‑through. The ideal candidate combines practical construction knowledge with strong organization and communication skills. You anticipate challenges, offer solutions, and take ownership of keeping projects moving. This is a project management position with no sales responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Experience in residential remodeling project management, construction supervision, or a related construction coordination role.
• Strong general construction knowledge and the ability to identify workmanship concerns and troubleshoot field issues.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, material orders, and project schedules.
• Excellent customer service, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and consistent follow‑through.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and remain adaptable when plans change.
• Comfort using digital project management tools and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Ability to travel regularly between local job sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with kitchen, bathroom, or other residential remodeling projects.
• Familiarity with JobNimbus or similar construction management software.
• Experience with inventory management, purchasing, change orders, and project closeout.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary of $70,000–$90,000.
