Job summary

Triun, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee schedules, budgets, client communications, and team leadership to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate will bring strong construction knowledge, financial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing utility and infrastructure scopes preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead weekly project meetings and coordinate communication between clients, design teams, subcontractors, utilities teams, and internal staff.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
• Review subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure scope, pricing, and schedule alignment.
• Oversee project financials including forecasting, cost tracking, subcontractor pay applications, and client billing.
• Prepare monthly pay application narratives including progress updates, schedule lookaheads, RFIs, submittals, and risk assessments.
• Perform site visits and inspections to verify work quality and compliance with plans and specifications.
• Proactively manage client expectations and provide consistent project status updates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and schedule improvements while coordinating impacts with leadership.
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity and strong working relationships.
• Support estimating and preconstruction efforts including bid administration, subcontractor coordination, and budget development.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of project plans, specifications, and addenda throughout estimating and construction.
• Coordinate closely with the in-house utilities department to integrate infrastructure and vertical construction scopes.
• Assist with proposals, business development efforts, and continuous process improvement.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
• Travel to project sites as required – (Twice monthly at least).
