Job summary

Corti Construction, Inc. in Redmond, WA is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to join a mid-sized, woman-owned commercial general contractor.

You will oversee tenant improvements and other specialty work, build client and subcontractor relationships, and mentor the project team. The role emphasizes budget control, coordination with designers and field staff, and pursuit of new business with premier clients across healthcare, education, tech, and telecom sectors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred, or equivalent combination of education & experience.
  • 5+ years project management experience, preferably with a Commercial General Contractor.
  • Broad knowledge of Design-Build techniques; DBIA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the financial soundness of projects thru skill & talent at estimating and managing the project budget.
  • Build industry relationships through pursuit, development and delivery of successful projects.
  • Develop and maintain great working relationships with field supervisors, clients, subcontractors, consultants and other team members.
  • Source and secure new business opportunities by establishing contacts and sustaining long term relationships.
  • Coordinate with project field personnel, architects, designers, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Identify workplace safety hazards and take necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize them.
  • Manage project subcontractors including coordination, procurement of materials and equipment, monitoring budget and cost, manage billings, etc.
  • Act as the “information hub” for project to office and field personnel to ensure continuity of work.
  • Lead, manage, train and/or mentor the team.

We do Tenant Improvement and other specialty work for premier clients throughout the Seattle / Puget Sound area.

Duties will be varied, as we are still growing. They may include:

Education & Experience
  • Excellent teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred, or equivalent combination of education & experience.
  • 5+ years project management experience, preferably with a Commercial General Contractor.
  • Broad Knowledge of Design Build techniques, DBIA certification a plus.
  • Full knowledge of computer software such as MS Office. Knowledge of Scheduling and PM Software. Auto-CAD, Bluebeam and/or Spectrum/Project Site helpful.
Compensation:
  • Salary Range: $120,000 - $155,000
