Job summary

The Fordy Group is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead healthcare construction projects across the greater Orlando market. This role provides hands-on field leadership, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The General Superintendent will coordinate subcontractors and trade partners, maintain safety and quality standards, and resolve field challenges on complex healthcare

Qualifications

• 10+ years of superintendent leadership experience.
• 10+ years of healthcare construction experience.
• Proven experience overseeing complex healthcare construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction from planning to closeout.
• Provide leadership to field teams, subcontractors, and trade partners.
• Coordinate and sequence subcontractor activities to maintain an efficient construction schedule and minimize conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality control, and project-specific procedures.
• Monitor labor, material, and equipment requirements to ensure resources are available when needed.
• Track inventory and coordinate material procurement in line with project requirements and schedules.
• Identify and resolve trade conflicts, jurisdictional issues, and other field challenges.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing safely and in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Maintain strong communication with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Support the project team in maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
• Assist with project reporting, documentation, and overall site administration.

We’re seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead healthcare construction projects across the greater Orlando market. This role will provide hands-on field leadership, overseeing day-to-day construction operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The General Superintendent will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors and trade partners, maintaining safety and quality standards, and resolving field challenges across complex healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive healthcare construction experience, strong superintendent leadership capabilities, and the ability to build effective relationships with project teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

Position Summary

The General Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily construction activities from project planning through completion. This includes coordinating contractors and suppliers, monitoring labor, materials, and inventory, conducting site inspections, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring compliance with established safety, schedule, and quality requirements.
