Position Summary

The Project Manager will oversee multiple ground-up commercial restaurant construction projects from pre-construction through final turnover. This individual will manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractor performance, client communication, and quality control across several locations simultaneously.

The ideal candidate has successfully managed multiple ground-up commercial construction projects at one time and understands the fast-paced demands of restaurant construction. Experience managing ground-up Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) builds is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple ground-up restaurant construction projects simultaneously throughout the southeastern corridor.
• Oversee projects from site development, permitting, and pre-construction, Superintendent Management through final turnover.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to plans and specifications.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving potential delays.
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, developers, vendors, and ownership teams.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality standards, timelines, and client expectations are consistently met.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients, providing regular project updates and ensuring complete satisfaction.
• Quickly resolve field issues while minimizing schedule impacts.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Build long-term client relationships through exceptional execution Qualifications
• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Proven experience managing multiple ground-up commercial construction projects simultaneously.
• Experience managing multiple locations or national rollout programs is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and project controls.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.

Experience

• Ground-up restaurant construction experience is required.
• National or regional restaurant rollout experience.
• Experience working with franchise or corporate restaurant brands.
• Experience with site development, permitting, and municipal inspections.
• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
