As a leading player in the wind industry and manufacturer of wind turbines, we are passionate about driving the energy transition and providing innovative solutions that meet the growing energy demand of the global community.

As a Construction Project Manager supporting the Coastal Virginia Offshore Project, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of a critical offshore construction package from planning through commissioning and handover. Working within the Offshore Wind Execution team, you will coordinate project activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning functions to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-schedule execution.

Your day may involve reviewing project schedules, evaluating construction progress against key milestones, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, managing project risks, and providing updates to senior leadership. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned package, ensuring effective communication among internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Success in this role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and project management expertise. You will leverage your experience managing large-scale construction projects to drive performance, mitigate risks, control costs, and ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of the largest offshore wind projects in the United States while helping accelerate the energy transition.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans for assigned offshore construction work packages.
  • Lead project execution activities to ensure scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
  • Monitor project performance against established milestones, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain project objectives.
  • Coordinate installation, construction, commissioning, and handover activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards and engineering requirements.
  • Serve as the primary interface for internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and customers associated with the assigned project package.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, including procurement support, contract administration, performance management, and claims resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, quality, HSE, and site management to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while driving proactive issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, industry regulations, and offshore construction requirements.
  • Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and present project status updates, risk assessments, and performance reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of project management best practices across offshore wind execution activities.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Typically 8+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience within offshore wind, offshore energy, renewables, power generation, or major industrial construction projects preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required or strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, project controls, scheduling, risk management, and commercial management.
  • Strong experience managing contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors in complex project environments.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, forecasting activities, and financial performance reporting.
  • Experience utilizing project scheduling and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment across multiple project stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites, ports, fabrication facilities, and offshore locations as business needs require.
