As a Logistics and Parts Coordinator, you will serve as the central point of contact for material and spare parts coordination across assigned wind farm sites. Your day will involve managing inventory accuracy, supporting SAP material transactions, coordinating spare parts orders and transfers, resolving inventory and procurement issues, and collaborating with site operations, finance, project management, and warehouse teams. You will play a critical role in ensuring materials are available when needed, inventory records remain accurate, and logistics processes support safe and efficient wind farm operations. This position requires regular travel to sites throughout North America and hands‑on engagement with warehouse and inventory management activities.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Inventory Management: Conduct annual physical inventory counts and cycle counts for assigned sites, analyze variances, and support reconciliation efforts using SAP and other inventory management systems.
  • Materials Coordination: Manage material movements, transfers, and returns while ensuring accurate system transactions and documentation.
  • SAP & System Support: Resolve material transaction issues including COGI errors, purchase order discrepancies, goods receipt issues, and consumption errors within SAP and SRP systems.
  • Parts Ordering & Tracking: Coordinate spare parts orders through central warehouses and track shipments through delivery confirmation at destination sites.
  • Training & Development: Provide training and guidance to site teams on SAP material transactions, inventory processes, and logistics best practices.
  • Inventory Optimization: Partner with site leadership and planning teams to review inventory strategies, analyze consumption trends, and support stock optimization initiatives.
  • Retrofit & Campaign Support: Perform physical validation of retrofit and major campaign inventory while supporting cycle count activities and NCR creation when required.
  • Lean Operations: Apply Lean principles to warehouse operations to improve efficiency, inventory accuracy, and process effectiveness.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with site management, project management, finance, order management, and materials management teams to ensure smooth material flow and issue resolution.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements while operating within warehouse and field environments.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional vocational, technical training, associate degree, or equivalent related experience preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, materials coordination, warehouse operations, or a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and locations.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new software systems and technologies.
  • Experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma training or continuous improvement experience preferred.
  • Forklift operating experience and familiarity with warehouse equipment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work in remote facilities and varying climate conditions.
  • Ability to work independently in warehouse environments while maintaining strong collaboration with local and regional teams.
  • Professional proficiency in English required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% within North America.
