Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a project leadership professional to manage Major Projects valued at $1M+ from turnover through closeout. You will oversee execution, financial performance, schedule, safety, and stakeholder coordination to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities include leading planning through closeout, maintaining schedules, managing budgets and change orders, and ensuring contractual compliance. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience managing commercial construction, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, controls, or related projects.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and customer relationships.
• Working knowledge of project financials, forecasting, contract administration, and change order management.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects from planning through completion and closeout.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, billings, cash flow, and profitability.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and execution plans.
• Coordinate project activities with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.

Day to Day

• Take ownership of project outcomes from kickoff through warranty.
• Balance safety, quality, schedule, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Build strong relationships with customers and project stakeholders.
• Partner with field operations to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage project finances through accurate forecasting and cost control.
• Communicate effectively and drive accountability across the project team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.

Plusses/Nice to Have (Not Required):

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• Experience managing projects valued at $1M or greater.
• Experience with HVAC, building automation, mechanical construction, or other complex building systems.
• PMP, CAPM, CMIT, or other relevant certifications.
