Job summary

MCL Construction is seeking a Construction Project Manager to own the outcome of commercial projects from kickoff to closeout in the Omaha area. You will lead from planning through completion, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met with accountability and precision.

You will collaborate with superintendents, owners, architects and internal teams, manage contracts and documentation, and nurture client relationships to drive repeat work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural preferred).
• 8+ years of commercial construction experience, with 3+ years in a Project Manager role.
• Experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects is a strong plus.
• Strong command of budgets, contracts, and project controls.

Your Day-to-Day

Lead Projects End-to-End

Take full ownership of commercial projects from kickoff through closeout.

Drive execution against schedule, budget, and quality benchmarks no exceptions.

Anticipate risk before it becomes a problem and make decisions that protect the project.

Build and Align Your Team

Partner closely with superintendents, owners, architects, and internal teams to keep everyone moving in the same direction.

Manage contracts, cost controls, documentation, and reporting with precision.

Hold stakeholders accountable and communicate proactively no surprises.

Grow the Business

Strengthen client relationships that drive repeat work and long-term partnerships.

Represent MCL in the community and contribute to a culture others want to be part of.

The Right Fit

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural preferred).
• 8+ years of commercial construction experience, with 3+ years in a Project Manager role.
• Experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects a strong plus.
• Strong command of budgets, contracts, and project controls.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with GMP and CMAR delivery methods is a strong plus.
