Actalent in Portland, OR seeks an Electrical Construction Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects from award to closeout, overseeing costs, forecasting financial performance, and ensuring profitability on-site at a semiconductor client in Beaverton.

This permanent, on-site role requires strong skills in scheduling, cost estimating, drawing reviews, and vendor coordination, with a discretionary year-end bonus and a 401k with employer match.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of construction project management experience in the regional market.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor or industrial construction projects is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to develop and maintain successful client and contractor relationships.
  • Experience reviewing electrical construction drawings and producing cost estimates.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and construction methods.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and draft construction contracts and detailed scope proposals.
  • Experience managing project schedules using established construction scheduling methods.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word; estimating software experience is required (ConEst preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining financial and schedule control.

Work Environment

The position involves spending most of the time on-site at a semiconductor client location in Beaverton. The project demo begins in August, with the majority of the scope rolling out by November. Benefits include an opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus and a 401k with a 40% employer match up to the federal limit. This is a chance to join a new and growing division within one of the largest electrical contractors in the country.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $155000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus. 401k with a 40% employer match (up to federal limit.)
