Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC in Freehold, New Jersey, United States is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee all aspects of industrial and municipal projects. The ideal candidate has construction management experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Excel to manage schedules, costs, and field operations.

The role requires leadership, ability to plan timelines, coordinate crews, review invoices, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing CIPP, Manhole Coatings and other trenchless rehabilitation construction.
• Ability to travel for both long and short-term projects.
• Extremely safety conscious and serve as an example to crew members.
• Organized, detailed oriented and possess excellent time management and Microsoft Office skills with heavy emphasis on Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Customer and Operations involved in the execution of a project
• Manage all cost tracking and revenue reporting/forecasting for the project
• Schedule Prepare/Tie-In with contractor schedules
• Pre- planning and resource forecasting and inventory management
• Work with management for all major equipment/supply purchases
• Attend construction planning meetings and project/site walks
• Assist in quality control and safety of all projects
• Provide job site assistance to manage field operations
• Complete projects on schedule, within the allotted budget, and in accordance with QAQC standards
• Review all required reporting/collection of time and daily report logs (From operations/superintendents)
• Review/Approve/Submit all vendor and customer invoices, checking items, project info, dates, rates, etc.

The ProjectManager oversees all aspects of construction,industrialand municipal projects. Applicant must have strong communicationskills with prior management and construction experience or be a recent engineering graduate. Candidate will oversee organization, administration, and coordination of elements involved in the construction of a project. Applicant must possess leadership and computer skills with a heavy emphasis on Microsoft Excel and an ability to oversee and manage field operations and crews, as well as have the organizational skills to setaccuratetimelines and tracking for all active projects, while preparing scheduling for upcoming work.

Salary Range

• $85,000 to 110,000, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
