Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction, project management, or construction management experience.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
  • Experience managing schedules, budgets, project risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Background working for or closely alongside major General Contractors.
  • Experience delivering large, technically complex construction projects.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Construction Project Manager (CPM) *Location:* El Paso, TX (100% Onsite) *Duration:* 12-Month Contract (Strong Potential for Extension)

About the Opportunity

Our client, is seeking an experienced *Construction Project Manager (CPM)* to support the delivery of a large-scale, mission-critical data center campus in El Paso, Texas.

This is a unique opportunity to join a significant infrastructure program and help deliver a *1GW hyperscale data center campus* consisting of multiple data halls, network buildings, and supporting infrastructure. The project is currently under construction and entering critical execution, commissioning, and turnover phases.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of *construction management, project management, electrical infrastructure, and MEP expertise*, along with the ability to effectively communicate with engineering teams, contractors, and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day project execution across a complex, multi-contractor construction environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between construction, engineering, operations, and project stakeholders.

  • Experience managing multi-building campus projects.
  • Owner-side construction management experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile

We're looking for a polished construction professional who can operate as both a project manager and on-site construction leader. This individual should be comfortable discussing technical requirements with engineering teams while simultaneously driving project execution, schedules, budgets, and contractor performance.

Candidates from hyperscale data center environments are strongly preferred; however, professionals from semiconductor, industrial manufacturing, chemical processing, or oil & gas construction backgrounds with significant MEP and electrical expertise are highly encouraged to apply.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of El Paso, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
