TEKsystems in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a mid-level Construction Manager to act as the Owner's Representative on-site for a large-scale infrastructure project. You will oversee construction execution, coordinating contractors, vendors and stakeholders to keep milestones on track.

The ideal candidate has 5–15 years in construction or PM roles, strong leadership, and experience with MEP/telecommunications aspects on major facilities.

Qualifications

*Construction Manager (Owner's Representative)* *Location:* Fort Worth, TX (100% On-Site) *Contract Position | *40 Hours/Week *Project:* Large-Scale Mission Critical Infrastructure Build

About the Role We are seeking a Construction Manager to support a high-profile, large-scale infrastructure project in Temple, TX. This individual will serve as the Owner's Representative, overseeing construction execution, contractor performance, project coordination, and schedule adherence throughout the remaining phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Owner's Representative on-site throughout construction activities.
  • Manage and coordinate general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project schedules and support adherence to critical milestones.
  • Drive construction execution and ensure work aligns with project objectives, quality standards, and safety expectations.
  • Facilitate communication between field teams, contractors, engineers, and client stakeholders.
  • Support MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and telecommunications-related construction activities.
  • Identify project risks, coordinate issue resolution, and remove roadblocks impacting execution.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, including connectivity and commissioning personnel, to support successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications
  • 5-15 years of construction management or project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing contractors and construction execution in the field.
  • Experience serving as an Owner's Representative or General Contractor Project Manager.
  • Strong construction management and project coordination work history.
  • Experience overseeing large-scale commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage schedules, priorities, and construction activities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting mission-critical or critical facilities projects.
  • Data center construction experience.
  • Experience within one or more of the following industries:
    • Critical Facilities
    • Semiconductor Manufacturing
    • Oil & Gas
    • Healthcare Infrastructure
  • Exposure to commissioning, turnover, connectivity, or retrofit projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Infrastructure, or a related field.
