Position Summary

As an Integration Project Manager at STERIS, you will lead integration projects in an assigned territory, providing project management and installation services. You will oversee a team of approximately 2-5 direct reports and be responsible for the financial performance of major and/or multiple construction and retrofit projects.

This is a remote, customer-facing position. Candidates must be based in California to support and service our customers in this territory.

What You'll Do As An Integration Project Manager

• Own project delivery responsibilities with teams of Integration Lead Installers and Service Integration Specialists.
• Develop and execute project schedules.
• Evaluate contractual scope and manage changes and directives.
• Seek additional work through change orders.
• Manage costs, billings, and ensure profitability.
• Review contracts and analyze financial and project data to address issues proactively.
• Communicate project status and issues to management.
• Manage risks and develop recovery plans.
• Resolve disputes with minimal escalation.
• Handle subcontractor purchase orders and ensure document control compliance.
• Oversee project construction, materials procurement, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with senior management and ensure standards are met in engineering and commissioning.
• Assist sales in project development.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or construction management field or equivalent experience + 2-3 years project management in building construction.
• Problem-solving, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Technical aptitude and multi-tasking ability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
• Leadership qualities and ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Preferred:

• Experience managing people directly.
• Experience with integrated Operating Rooms is highly preferred.

This position is remote and based in California. The salary range is $80,000 to $112,087.50, with bonus eligibility. Pay rates are commensurate with experience and local market conditions.
