Talently is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead ground-up commercial construction in Charlotte and the Carolinas, guiding projects from preconstruction to closeout.

The role offers mentorship of Project Managers and Engineers, with executive support to drive growth in the Charlotte market and develop future leaders. On-site work in Charlotte is required, with opportunities for career advancement into Operations Executive roles.

Qualifications

• Experience leading ground-up commercial projects valued at $20M–$50M+.
• Experience in K-12, healthcare, municipal, office/commercial, or industrial sectors.
• End-to-end project lifecycle expertise (preconstruction, buyout, cost control, scheduling, subcontractor management, closeout).
• Experience managing owner and architect/engineer relationships as client liaison.
• Strong leadership, financial oversight, large-team management, and mentoring skills.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project or P6.
• Based in the Charlotte area and willing to work on-site at project locations and in the office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee buyout, cost control, scheduling, quality, and overall execution.
• Build and maintain strong client, owner, architect, and engineer relationships.
• Manage subcontractors and project teams to meet project requirements and resolve challenges.
• Provide financial oversight and keep projects aligned with budget and schedule.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and project teams to support growth in the Charlotte market.

• Experience managing owner and architect/engineer relationships and serving as a client liaison.
• Proven leadership skills, including financial oversight, large-team management, and mentoring project professionals.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project or P6.
• Based in the Charlotte area and willing to work on-site at project locations and in the office.
