We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Construction Project Manager to join our talented team located in Cary, NC.

In this role, you will work on a project site, leading construction projects to successful completion — safely, on time, and on budget. Additionally, you will work with the Project Director and/or Senior Project Manager, guiding our engineering, construction management, and superintendent teams in achieving project goals.

To excel in this role, you will need a strong construction background, an uncompromising commitment to safety and quality, and a focus on client engagement.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Maintain preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans; project scopes of work; budgets; and schedules.
2. Manage vendor and subcontractor invoicing and client billing in coordination with accounting.
3. Monitor project costs and field conditions, ensuring changes are fully reflected in cost reports.
4. Monitor design content and coordinate design revisions for constructability and compliance.
5. Coordinate the construction schedule with design, commissioning, and qualification schedule requirements.
6. Work with senior leadership to mitigate project risks as they are identified.
7. Lead the site safety program and monitor performance with CMs and Superintendents on site.
8. Interact regularly with the client to ensure their needs are met, focusing on the IPS client experience.
9. Build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to develop solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in project delivery or related discipline.
• Experience managing construction for multi-million-dollar projects.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain and maintain it.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Manufacturing / Industrial experience.
• Experience in the construction of pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or life science facilities.
• Piping and civil experience.
• Effective communication skills, team building, and a strong work ethic.

Safety

• This position requires 25% travel or as needed by the project.
• You may be assigned to a client site for an extended period.
• Overnight travel or staying at the client’s location may be required.
• Adherence to safety rules at client sites is mandatory.
• This is a safety-sensitive position, acting as a supervisor for field work involving IPS employees or subcontractors.
