Responsibilities:
- Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule, including interfacing with client representatives, A/E representatives, subcontractors, end users, security, etc.
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy. Plan, coordinate, and supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned projects.
- Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate serious situations and implement corrective measures. Authorize/approve purchase requisitions, change requests, etc.
- Ensure adherence to all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards. Interpret policies as required.
- Maintain official project log and documentation files. Assist with safety program implementation and interpretation. Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company’s interests and maintain good client relationships.
- Assume additional responsibilities as directed by regional management.
Qualifications:
To qualify, you must have:
- A 4-year construction management/engineering degree or equivalent professional training and experience
- Minimum 10 years of extensive experience and knowledge in commercial or industrial construction activities, design, finance, and management
- Ability to apply innovative management techniques to maximize employee performance
- Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, standards, and their impact on project activities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; business-oriented mindset
- Experience managing large-scale data center projects, projects over $100M in sectors like general construction, electrical, manufacturing, technology, or infrastructure
- A valid US driver’s license and passport; willingness to travel (~70%)

- Proficiency in developing and implementing project strategies, plans, and budgets
