Job summary

Nordstrom Williams is seeking a Project Manager to own complex, custom-manufactured projects from handoff to installation and payment, ensuring no detail is missed along the way.

You will be the primary contact for clients, the shop floor, and leadership, driving clear expectations, tracking drawings, schedules and changes, and ensuring timely billing and collections with a proactive, hands-on approach. A willingness to travel is required as projects move between sites.

Qualifications

• No manufacturing background required; what matters is your ability to talk to a GC, hold your ground, and get specs and change orders approved.
• Comfortable in Excel and able to navigate a spreadsheet without hand-holding.
• A degree in construction management or business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take the handoff on new projects, introduce yourself to the client, and set expectations from day one
• Dig into requirements, drawings, products, and any manufacturing wrinkles before they become problems
• Track each project through scheduling and production, catching issues before they threaten the timeline
• Keep clients ahead of the curve: progress, changes, delays, so they hear it from you first
• Write up and present contract changes as the project evolves
• Own project billing and collections

My client makes one-of-a-kind building materials that show up on historic restorations and architect-designed commercial builds around the world. Now they need a Project Manager who can take a custom project from "we just won this" to "it's installed and paid for", without dropping any of the details in between.

You'll be the person customers, the shop floor, and leadership all call when they need a straight answer. If you like owning something start to finish, this is that job.
